The Security Stakeholder "Web"
Whether considering the protection of airports, the integration of command and control rooms or setting national policy for building a secure energy and communication infrastructure, M.I.P. Security have the experience and knowledge to meet the challenge. Regardless of whether attacks are driven by ideological or religious hate, racism, political, environmental or anti-globalization, or even by a disturbed worker or person, the outcome of the attack can be anticipated and therefore avoided or minimized.
M.I.P. Security has developed a methodology to support the decision-making process for multi-site regional security projects. Use of this methodology has resulted in quantifiable benefits through the avoidance of unnecessary state-wide investments and by ensuring that funds are allocated in the most appropriate and cost-effective ways.
Setting policy at a national level is key to long-term security independence and M.I.P. Security have been instrumental in the preparation of National Guidelines to assist architects, town planners and security personnel. Whether retro-fitting an existing site or planning a new building or complex, following basic principles of physical security will have the greatest impact if introduced at the national level.
The planning and management of regional security projects based on extensive threat and risk analysis and multi-site prioritization requires a wide range of skills including engineering, military, management and financial. M.I.P. Security have undertaken complex multi-site management projects including the establishment of command and control centres, and the protection of a city-wide network of sensitive buildings.
In order to foster security independence in civilian and police organizations, M.I.P. Security offers an extended physical security training course which is run in parallel to a real long-term analysis and protection project. This training, which is based on the real world challenges that the client city or state faces, provides tangible benefits in the form of real plans, budgets and projects.
